I assume this is his new MV for the song. I dig the mellow beat mixed w/ hip-hop elements. Definite listen!

Awesome performance of a song from her debut single. I like the song much better than the one she’s popular for (Because of a Man). This song just suits her voice much more.

This is the first performance of Mighty Mouth’s title song, Energy! Sun Ye’s actually performing in the song too! XD Check it out. This is definitely my song of the summer!

This time, Tae Yang of, Big Bang fame, went solo for a bit and released his own solo mini album. I wasn’t really a fan of Tae Yang while he was in Big Bang (TOP all the way! haha). His two feature songs, Look Only at Me & Prayer, are very good. It’s topping charts in Korea, so give him a listen if ur into the pop/hip-hop scene! Link to the album and to watch his two MV’s after the break.

Alex, the main male singer of the group, Clazziquai, split off from the group and debuted with his first solo album! Horan, the female lead singer, went off and joined another project group called, Ibadi, and released an album w/ them. This doesn’t mean Clazziquai’s broken up! Since they are a project group, they are encouraged to pursue other projects outside the group. They still plan to release an album this year. BUT ANYWAYS! This album is GREAT! I like almost every song from the album. You can’t go wrong listening to the soothing rhythm and soft vocals of Alex. Link to DL and to watch the MV of the second track after the break.

So a new group called Mighty Mouth just came out with their debut album called, “Energy” yesterday. Earlier this year, they released a single called, “I Love You” featuring former Baby VOX member, Yoon Eun Hye. It turned out to be a big hit on the Korean music charts thanks in part to her, but the group can hold its own, IMO. Their title track called, “Energy” (duh…) features Sun Ye of Wonder Girls! XD After hearing these two feature songs, it was enough to make them one of my favorite Korean groups now. Their blend of upbeat pop and hip hop is enough to appeal to many. I’m sure they’ll be a hit. Get it NOW! Link to the album DL and to watch the MV’s after the break.

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog… OTL It’s been a bit since i’ve had the free time to sit down and write a post. I vow to at least try and post something up every other day at minimum. I’ll start it out w/ a dedication to everyone that actually reads my blog! XD

So it looks like Big Bang released a 2nd mini album in Japan. I wasn’t aware they did well enough in Japan to release another album already. lol. That’s cool tho, I always like more Big Bang. Their title track, “With U” is definitely worth a listen. It’s also got english versions of a couple of their older songs. Obviously, it’s new in Japan. Check out the ablum and MV for With U after the break.

If you know anything about me, you know I <3 the Wonder Girls.

So if you haven’t heard about the news yet, Wonder Girls released a song of their second album, “So Hot” It’s only been a day and it’s the most searched and listened to song on most Korean sites. I’ve listened to the song myself and I thought it was an OK song, but I listened to it more and now I’m in LOVE w/ the song. It’s so HOT HOT HOT! Promo images, song link and the MV of So Hot after the break! DO IT! [BTW, their comeback will be May 31 and a single will be out June 3. woo!]

I guess this was a special MV since Rihanna isn’t in the original version of this song. I gotta find this version of the song! Rihanna is all up on the lead singer of Maroon 5 (I forgot his name…)

Looks like the SNL season finale finished w/ a bang. Usher performed at the end of the show and I gotta say, he’s still got it!

Looks like Chris Brown took the Rihanna route and decided to release a “Forever Edition” of his Exclusive album, which was released a year or so ago. The album repackage has only one new song, I think. This is the MV for it. I like the song, and I think it’s worth a check out. See it after the break!

Going back towards my American music phase… LOL. Pretty gangsta song, considering Lil Mama didn’t really impress me w/ her other song, G-slide. I guess it’s the fact that Chris Brown and T-Pain are also in the song.

Forgot there was an MV for this! Really like the song since it’s different from her recent releases. I really like ballad songs~~

Gotta love the combination here; Madonna + Justin Timberlake + Timbaland = INSTANT HIT! Was there really any doubt it’d be good!?

Just recently found out there was a MV for this song! This is definitely one of Bennie K’s best songs and I’m in love w/ the song. It’s the main theme song for the J-drama Binbo Danshi (which I haven’t got to watch yet since there aren’t any subs yet…) If you haven’t heard of Bennie K, they’re a Japanese pop/hip-hop duo consisting of two girls. Quite rare in the J-hip-hop scene. Check out the MV. U’ll soon come to love them too. The single for this song is out now and it’s part of their recently released “BEST OF THE BESTEST” album. I”ll post the best of album later.

Love the special stage performances! XD Why don’t they do that here in America!? Well, if they had shows like Music Bank and Inkigayo here, I guess it would work… but they don’t… anyways, this is from Mighty Mouth’s debut single, Love You. Originally, the female singer is Yoon Eun Hye (former Baby-VOX member and Coffee Prince star), but JOO does a decent job of filling in for YEH. Was it me, or was her mic turned down? LOL. Check out the perf! I love the song!

FINALLY! The MV to one of the most anticipated Korean albums of the year is on the internet! I’m in love with the song and I LOVE the MV! Just can’t get enough of Tablo, Mithra, and Jisun! Jisun’s voice is soo perfect for the song. I’m still sad over the fact that she’s leaving Loveholic tho… =( ANYWAYS, enjoy the MV! XD

While numerous idol bands have checked in and out of the K-pop scene over the past decade, only one has emerged as the true survivor: Shinhwa. The longest running Korean idol group as of 2008, Shinhwa has managed to sustain a high level of popularity throughout their ten years together. Having not only enjoyed many chart-topping singles, but also cultivated distinctive image and personalities for each of its members, Shinhwa has solidified their status as pop culture icons. 2008 marks the celebration of their 10th anniversary as well as a turning point for the group as Kim Dong Wan, Eric Mun, and Lee Min Woo gear up to enlist in the military, followed by Jun Jin and Andy in the next two years.

To commemorate their achievement, Shinhwa presents a special edition of their ninth album, with a first pressing limited to only 50,000 copies. A hologram bearing a number between 1 and 50,000 is affixed to each copy, making it a treasured memorabilia for many devoted fans. The album features a bevy of some of the best talents in the industry such as esteemed composer Kwon Tae Eun and his team of “ThePlayDoG”, Lee Sang In who previously wrote Shinhwa’s Your Man and Lee Min Woo’s Beeya, and Vink of Monotonic. Composed by Kim Jae Suk of Wanted and penned by Choi Gaap Won, Dashi han beonman (”Just One More Time”) is a lush string-infused R&B ballad with a moving chorus featuring all of Shinhwa’s six members.

No female artist has perfected the art of singing and rapping better than the sexy, groovy Lexy. After a year of rest, Lexy struts back into the spotlight with her fourth album The Lexy, hoping to expand her growing list of hits such as Ae Song Ee, Let Me Dance, Girls, and Rush. This time, Lexy steps onto the conductor’s podium, taking control over all aspects of the album, from directing, producing, and composing, to arranging and penning the lyrics. Her latest album evokes fresh new hip-hop sounds by mixing in a variety of different styles such as electronica, Euro-dance, and R&B.

Penned and composed by Lexy, and featuring the vocals of group V.O.S’s own Hyun Joon, Let Me Dance 2 ranked within the top 10 of various pop charts in just 3 days of its release. Another song that promises to be a hit for the star is Ma People, an East Coast style hip-hop number infused with electronic sounds and featuring Lexy’s signature rap. Also, for the first time in her career, Lexy dabbles in some R&B ballads with Don’t Lie (Track 3) and Doo Sa Ram (”Two People” - Track 9).

From their latest ablum “T.” I gotta admit, I didn’t like their new album until I actually took the time to listen to the whole thing. I think it’s a really good ablum now. LOL. Check out the MV. It’s pretty weird, but the song is bangin! haha.

BTW, it’s been a bit since I posted some links, so the next one will be pretty big. (maybe…)

An old favorite song of mine from a yr ago… this is the song that made me like Dong Bang Shin Ki. Just listening to it again, so it brings back some old memories… =)

This is SUCH a GOOD song!!! This was the reason I started watching Hong Gil Dong. I had to see what kinda show had such an emotional and moving song! Check out the first live performance of the song. Tae Yeon’s voice is outstanding, even during live performances. As expected of BoA’s little sister. LOL.

So this is the new song from Ivy’s upcoming album. I think it’s an alrite song, but I don’t think it’ll be a big hit like her old songs were. I guess we’ll see when the album comes out and then we’ll see if i’m right. Check it out for urselves and see what you think!

Man, I really love special stage performances! This time, it’s just Jewelry’s One More Time, probably Korea’s most popular song right now. Near the end, SS501 comes out to join them in their performance and they both dance together! haha. The “One More Time pose” is hilarious!

Lexy’s new single from her latest album, which will be released sometime this month I believe? The song’s a bit repetitive, but I still like the song. Lexy’s always been one of my favorites when it comes to Korean hip-hop. She always has at least one good song from her albums. And it helps to do collaborations w/ Big Bang!

Another great song! This time, an awesome duet w/ Jordin Sparks and my man, Chris Brown. Their voices compliment each other so well, just like Rihanna and Ne-Yo. Check out the video. I like the song more now cuz I saw it. I had another “Minju moment” while watching it… =(

LOL. Just wait till you see the end of the CM. Pretty funny… Kinda weird for a pizza commercial…

The latest of Samsung’s “Any” series. Last time, it was AnyBand. Now Rain is back and doing promotions for the olympics. It was like he disappeared for the longest time and is back. Prepare… he’s coming… back…

A great performance of two great songs! Joo and Girls’ Generation leader Tae Yeon do a duet of their two new songs. Awesome ballads! I’ll post both of the songs on my box.net widget so u can listen to them.

Their new MV just came out yesterday, so just spreadin some Wonder Girls love. The MV is pretty good. U could tell they had some budget constraints or somethin, but I love the song. U would thought Samsung, who funded the entire MV and therefore see the orange laptop everywhere, would dumped more money into making it better… they probably need more money for their whole business scandal goin on now. lol

Mighty Mouth is a new hip-hop duo who got lucky by getting former Baby-VOX member and Coffee Prince star Yoon Eun Hye to lend her voice to their title track, I Love You. It’s a pretty catchy song, just thought I’d share their first single. Always on the lookout for good music.

친구들이 내게 니가 나를 좋아하는 것 같대
My friends tell me that they think you like me
나도 왠지 그런 느낌은 가지고 있었지만
I have that feeling, too
혹시 아님 어쩌나 괜히 혼자 바보같이 그럼 어쩌나
but if I’m wrong and I’m acting like a fool
그런 걱정에 어떻게 해야 할 줄 모르고 있었어
with that worry, I don’t know what to do
(너를 볼때마다)
Everytime I see you
니 마음을 읽으려 애를 써봐도
I try to read what’s on your mind
(매번 볼때마다)
Each time I see you
난다른 느낌을 받어 도무지 모르겠어
I get a different impression/feeling, I’m so confused.***

나를 좋아하면 어서 말을 걸어
If you like me, please talk
왜 이렇게 자꾸 내 맘을 애태워
Why are you making me so frustrated
좋아한다면 제발 용기를 내줘
If you like me, please take the courage
나는 기다리는데 너는 왜 못 오는데 이바보
I’m waiting, why can’t you come, this fool
언제까지 계속 그렇게 날 바라보기만 할래
Until when are you just going to look at me
내 눈을 바라봐 너에게 다가 오라고 하잖아
Look at my eyes, I’m telling you to come to me.
계속 망설이다간 다른 용기있는 애가 먼저 다가와
If you don’t come in time and another guy confronts me
날 데려가고 나면 얼마나 후회 할려고 그래
If they take me, aren’t you going to regret it?
(너를 볼때마다)
Everytime I see you
내 마음을 보이려 애를 써봐도
I try to show you my heart
(매번 볼때마다)
Each time I see you
넌 왜 내맘을 모르니 아직도모르겠니
Why don’t you know how I feel, do you still not know?***
반복

***Rap.
언제까지 그렇게 바보같이 굴래
Until when are you going to act like such a fool?
도대체 날 데려갈래 말래
Are you going to take me or not?
이렇게 널 기다리다간 내가 먼저
If I wait like this, I might
지쳐서 널 포기하겠어
get tired and give up
그러니 던져봐 자신있게 너의 고백을 나에게
so take the chance, with courage, and propose to me
내가 여기서 이렇게 싸인을 주는데
I’m giving you the sign to come
뭐가 두려운거니 어 내 앞으로 다가와서 멋지게 고백해
what are you worried about?, just come to me and confess your feelings
용기를 내봐 어서
take the courage

M-Flo - Award SuperNova -Loves Best- (Best Album)

Their Final loves song… (yes for real…) From what I hear, the artists in the MV are supposedly candidates to become a member of m-flo! Tho, how does that work for Lisa (ex-m-flo member)? LOL. Go figure…

I doubt it, but Jewelry’s tryin real hard to recreate the quirky 80’s tune from Wonder Girls’ hit song. I just don’t wanna hear this everywhere if i go to Korea. It’s a pretty good song, but I don’t think it’s that great of a song to hear a million times. But check out the MV, some1 might like them more than me…
