Memories come and go, just like the wind… but some can stick and stay with you for the rest of your life. I randomly stumbled upon an image I thought I lost forever. It brought back some good memories of things I didn’t want to forget. It makes me wonder what else I should be remembering… This was a random post, but I just had to make a post after seeing this image… =( I miss my honey~~

I woke up, just like any other day. She had already woken up earlier and was on her laptop, looking at the latest recipe. I try to get outta bed, but to no avail… I was too lazy. She comes into the room and says, “Good morning, honey!” with a golden smile on her face. I give her three kisses, cuz we always kiss three times, and say, “Good morning!”

We sat down next to each other, holding hands. I stared into her eyes as she did with mine, hoping that she would find the love that was inside of me. And we just sat there, taking the tranquil atmosphere in. Without a care in the world, I wished it would never end.

We were walking towards the gate. I grabbed her hand to swing her around and hug her. We embraced and held onto each other like our lives depended on it. “You know that I love you, right?” I said with tears leaking out of my eyes. “Of course I do” she says back. “I knew this day would eventually come, but I didn’t want it to…” “Don’t worry, honey. I’ll see ya later.” She says to me as she lets go to wipe away my tears. With these parting words, she walks into the gate with a smile on her face and no regret in sight.
Some things we take for granted without fully realizing it until it’s suddenly gone. There are few regrets that I have in my life and letting her leave could might as well be one of them. My life now has a huge gap in it, with nothing to fill the cavity. Not sure where to go or what to do from now on, I journey on. Hopefully, our paths will cross again…I miss you, Minju. Saranghae!
