This time, Tae Yang of, Big Bang fame, went solo for a bit and released his own solo mini album. I wasn’t really a fan of Tae Yang while he was in Big Bang (TOP all the way! haha). His two feature songs, Look Only at Me & Prayer, are very good. It’s topping charts in Korea, so give him a listen if ur into the pop/hip-hop scene! Link to the album and to watch his two MV’s after the break.
Alex, the main male singer of the group, Clazziquai, split off from the group and debuted with his first solo album! Horan, the female lead singer, went off and joined another project group called, Ibadi, and released an album w/ them. This doesn’t mean Clazziquai’s broken up! Since they are a project group, they are encouraged to pursue other projects outside the group. They still plan to release an album this year. BUT ANYWAYS! This album is GREAT! I like almost every song from the album. You can’t go wrong listening to the soothing rhythm and soft vocals of Alex. Link to DL and to watch the MV of the second track after the break.
So a new group called Mighty Mouth just came out with their debut album called, “Energy” yesterday. Earlier this year, they released a single called, “I Love You” featuring former Baby VOX member, Yoon Eun Hye. It turned out to be a big hit on the Korean music charts thanks in part to her, but the group can hold its own, IMO. Their title track called, “Energy” (duh…) features Sun Ye of Wonder Girls! XD After hearing these two feature songs, it was enough to make them one of my favorite Korean groups now. Their blend of upbeat pop and hip hop is enough to appeal to many. I’m sure they’ll be a hit. Get it NOW! Link to the album DL and to watch the MV’s after the break.
So it looks like Big Bang released a 2nd mini album in Japan. I wasn’t aware they did well enough in Japan to release another album already. lol. That’s cool tho, I always like more Big Bang. Their title track, “With U” is definitely worth a listen. It’s also got english versions of a couple of their older songs. Obviously, it’s new in Japan. Check out the ablum and MV for With U after the break.
If you know anything about me, you know I <3 the Wonder Girls.
So if you haven’t heard about the news yet, Wonder Girls released a song of their second album, “So Hot” It’s only been a day and it’s the most searched and listened to song on most Korean sites. I’ve listened to the song myself and I thought it was an OK song, but I listened to it more and now I’m in LOVE w/ the song. It’s so HOT HOT HOT! Promo images, song link and the MV of So Hot after the break! DO IT! [BTW, their comeback will be May 31 and a single will be out June 3. woo!]

No female artist has perfected the art of singing and rapping better than the sexy, groovy Lexy. After a year of rest, Lexy struts back into the spotlight with her fourth album The Lexy, hoping to expand her growing list of hits such as Ae Song Ee, Let Me Dance, Girls, and Rush. This time, Lexy steps onto the conductor’s podium, taking control over all aspects of the album, from directing, producing, and composing, to arranging and penning the lyrics. Her latest album evokes fresh new hip-hop sounds by mixing in a variety of different styles such as electronica, Euro-dance, and R&B.
Penned and composed by Lexy, and featuring the vocals of group V.O.S’s own Hyun Joon, Let Me Dance 2 ranked within the top 10 of various pop charts in just 3 days of its release. Another song that promises to be a hit for the star is Ma People, an East Coast style hip-hop number infused with electronic sounds and featuring Lexy’s signature rap. Also, for the first time in her career, Lexy dabbles in some R&B ballads with Don’t Lie (Track 3) and Doo Sa Ram (”Two People” - Track 9).

Next time you’re reaching down for that iPod or Zune (or anything else for that matter), take care that you don’t alarm the authorities with any suspicious movements — or you could end up like the UK’s Darren Nixon. Apparently, the mild-mannered mechanic was on his way home from work when the Bobbies surrounded him and drew their guns, believing that the MP3 player in his pocket was a firearm. According to the Daily Mail, Mr. Nixon was tracked on CCTV, arrested at gunpoint, swabbed for DNA, fingerprinted, and thrown in a cell — all for listening to a bootleg of Chinese Democracy on a 4GB Philips GoGear. Said Darren, “I was really shocked when I saw the guns. They were pointing them right at me. It was a pretty scary experience. I had no idea what was going on.” After the team of Mentat cops realized their mistake, they couldn’t even offer an apology, said Nixon, “They just dropped me off at home and said a quick ’sorry for any inconvenience’, and that was all I got from them, which I thought was pretty out of order.” Once again, a hot serving of sweet justice.
